Ways to Get Involved

God has given us twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. God has also given everyone talents and gifts.
There are many activities that make demands on our time and talent. We can’t do everything. However, if everyone does one thing, image what we can accomplish!

This booklet provides an opportunity for you to look at the many opportunities we have to be of service to our parish.
It invites you to pray about and consider giving back to God through volunteering, a portion of the time and talent he has given you.

This call to service is really an invitation to live our life in imitation of Christ who gave all that he had for our sake. In our gift of time and talent, we GROW IN CHRIST and continue to live our faith through our service to our brothers and sisters of the Cathedral Parish.

Talent needed: Able to move heavy tables, chairs, classroom partitions, vacuum

Each crew of five or six would come in the morning and create whatever set-up is needed for the Parish Hall for that day. The length of time needed to create the various set-ups in the Parish Hall would depend on the group that is gathering. No set-up crew would be required to work more than two hours. This is a great opportunity to provide assistance to the many groups inside and outside of our parish who use our facilities.
